Social Driver attends NMSDC Conference and celebrates Supplier of the Year nomination with staff
The National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) annually hosts its conference. This year, it was four days in New Orleans to turn ideas into action and continue to build momentum for economic equity. Social Driver CEO and Cofounder Thomas Sanchez, Cofounder and CSO Anthony Shop, and Senior Advisor Strategic Growth Kevin Williams attended from our team.
The event was filled with exciting panels, networking, concerts, and several other opportunities for Minority-Owned Businesses to connect with companies looking to hire MBEs and fellow MBEs. There were three key focus areas for NMSDC this year: Insights, Innovation, and Inspiration. These included talks about positioning MBEs within the market and driving insights for growing businesses, events tailored to find new solutions and opportunities to help grow MBEs, inspire and empower.
The Social Driver team had a wonderful time meeting new folks and reconnecting with old friends at NMSDC.
Being nominated for Supplier of the Year and winning up until this point is symbolic of Social Driver's progress as an agency. Winning Capital Region Supplier of the Year was already a tremendous milestone for Social Driver. Then to be nominated nationally was an incredible accomplishment.
As an agency, this recognition shows how we have progressed. The Social Driver team has grown together and continues to go above what is expected on behalf of our clients. All this is thanks to each staff member at Social Driver. As a group, we celebrated the nomination just before the NMSDC Conference in the all-staff meeting called “Recharge” and treated everyone to lunch with a DoorDash gift card, taking a moment to recognize the team’s work, build our culture, and have a little fun.
