We worked with the Victory Fund and Victory Institute to redesign and launch their new digital strategy to grow the number of LGBTQ elected officials and elevating LGBTQ leaders at all levels of government. Social Driver re-designed, developed, and launched two full websites and a microsite, including an interactive “Out For America” map, resource libraries, event registrations, and a secure donation process.
The website was launched in 2017, right before the election season. Victory candidates had a record-setting election year with more candidates winning positions than any previous year. The new website allows Victory Fund and Victory Institute to manage data in a much more integrated and streamlined way—allowing staff to more easily manage operations, donations, event registrations, and other key campaign workflows.
The website was specifically designed to respect the separate institutional missions of Victory Fund and Victory Institute, while making the experience seamless for website visitors. This website project included custom digital branding, graphic design, Search Engine Optimization strategy, reporting and analytics, and all other aspects of the website and digital strategy.
The “Out For America” interactive map shows every LGBTQ elected official in the US and locally, with the ability to view and filter the specific information.
