Social Driver Co-Founders Thomas Sanchez, CEO, and Anthony Shop, Chief Strategy Officer, were both named to the Washington Business Journal’s inaugural Business of Pride Awards.

This program was launched to “honor Greater Washington companies and business leaders for outstanding practices in advancing LGBTQ leadership and equality.” The inaugural class of 2018 includes 20 local LGBTQ and ally leaders who are blazing the trail for diversity and inclusion in the corporate world.

“We were overwhelmed with the nominations we received for this new program,” said Emily Van Zandt, associate editor. The program selected 20 Greater Washington leaders. Shop and Sanchez were the only couple and only two representatives from the same company.

In 2017, the Washington Business Journal named Social Driver the #1 LGBT-owned company in the Greater Washington region.
