Koom brings 15 years of account management and client engagement experience with global brands
Social Driver is excited to announce that Ryan Koom has been promoted to Vice President of Account Management.
Koom, who joined Social Driver in 2018, is now responsible for growing business with existing clients and new clients across the entire agency. He brings with him 15 years of account management and client engagement experience.
Koom has worked with some of the largest and most well-respected brands in the world. At Social Driver, he has led relationships with Amazon, Target, Cigna, Pepco, and the American Academy of Family Physicians. His previous client experience includes Ford, Lincoln, Kellogg, JG Wentworth, State Street Global Advisors, and Honeywell.
Koom has continuously focused on building trusted partnerships with clients.
“I am very excited to watch our world-class team grow and take Social Driver to places we haven’t yet been,” said Koom.
In his previous position as Director of Account Management, Koom was instrumental in growing Social Driver’s client portfolio, including expanding relationships with existing clients and winning business from new clients.
In his new position, Koom manages all of the account managers across the agency, focusing on hiring and training specialists and developing specific service offerings to provide a greater level of expertise to clients. He recently recruited Tricia Cunard, who was working with a top PR firm, for the role of Associate Director of Planning to help better facilitate the handoff between the sales process and the project teams that execute the work. “She has reshaped our internal team briefing process to create a smoother experience,” said Koom.
