Supplier Diversity

Social Driver has made a significant impact in digital marketing, but more importantly, as a leader within the LGBTBE community. Social Driver is an agency specializing in innovative digital marketing solutions and has worked with leading corporations and nonprofit organizations, connecting with their audiences through social media campaigns, websites, and data visualizations.

But what sets Social Driver apart from other marketing agencies is its commitment to working with other LGBT and diverse-owned businesses. Social Driver has been certified as an LGBT Business Enterprise for several years and has leveraged this certification to take advantage of world-class education opportunities, connect with other diverse suppliers, and grow as a business. Additionally, the agency has participated in the Accenture Diverse Supplier Development Program through the NGLCC Mentorship Program, where they were recognized as the fastest-growing company in the protégé class.

Social Driver has also been a partner, subcontractor, vendor, buyer, and mentor to other Certified LGBTBE companies and certified diverse firms. This commitment to working with the LGBT and diverse-owned business community was recognized when Social Driver was named the 2015 NGLCC Supplier of the Year.

CEO and co-founder Thomas Sanchez emphasized the importance of creating opportunities for other LGBT companies and for their team in his remarks accepting the award at NGLCC’s annual conference. Sanchez also served on NGLCC’s Procurement Council's Supplier Committee, where he mentored and supported LGBT businesses.

Social Driver actively engages with and supports the greater minority business community through various organizations and initiatives. They have provided pro bono social media and digital marketing training to dozens of nonprofits, focusing on those serving youth and entrepreneurs. Supporting youth is also a key cause area for Social Driver’s own The Dirver Foundation, an avid supporter of The Trevor Project, where Sanchez also serves on the Board.

Social Driver's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion sets an example for other businesses. Their success in the industry while maintaining the utmost integrity and respect for clients and employees is admirable. Congratulations to the Social Driver team for being named the 2015 NGLCC Supplier of the Year.
