People know best where their support is needed. That belief is at the heart of our Driver Foundation’s microgrant program, the annual tradition that gives every team member the opportunity to direct a donation to the nonprofit of their choosing.
Rather than selecting one cause on behalf of the company, the microgrant program turns generosity into something personal. Each Driver decides where their grant goes, guided by their own passions, lived experiences, or community ties.
The idea behind the microgrant program is straightforward: Everyone has a cause that matters deeply to them. Housing. Youth programs. Health advocacy. Mental health. Animal rescue. Veteran support. Food security. Arts education. The issues reflect the world that shapes us.
When employees choose where to give, the impact becomes richer and more authentic. This year’s selections showcased the heart of the Social Driver team, spanning organizations that support families experiencing homelessness, provide mental health resources to veterans, offer technology education for young women, advance medical research, and deliver meals during crises, among many others.
Each grant told a story about what motivates our team to show up with purpose.

What makes the microgrant program meaningful is how it connects individual experiences to community impact. Team members selected nonprofits rooted in the neighborhoods where they grew up, where they live today, or where their families receive support. Others chose causes tied to personal challenges or local organizations making a quiet but powerful difference.
These choices reflect a truth many leaders understand. When people are trusted to act on their values, they engage more deeply. They contribute with intention. And they bring that purpose into every part of their work.
The Driver Foundation was created to help build a brighter future for the communities we serve. Over the years, Social Driver team members have donated and volunteered because giving back is part of who we are. The microgrant program strengthens that culture by empowering each employee to take the lead.
The contribution is a statement about trust, autonomy, and community. The program recognizes that impact is strongest when it comes from personal connection and genuine care.
