Fike, a global leader in industrial safety, sought to upgrade Fike.com to enable current and future customers around the world to learn about the company’s products and services, and search them more intuitively and in fewer steps. With product lines that are constantly evolving and improving, the team also needed a content management system (CMS) and configuration that would allow for content to be updated easily and quickly.
The site needed to better work for:
- prospects who might need Fike’s services, helping them to understand the product, how it works, and how it will fit into their system
- existing clients, who might not be aware of all of Fike’s services
- Fike’s sales team that needed a more reliable website to handle the front-end pitch
Social Driver overhauled the site’s content architecture, navigation and user experience, making Fike’s products and solutions easier to search for prospective and current clients. Social Driver also migrated the CMS to Wordpress, which enabled the client team to make website updates more quickly and easily.
Since Social Driver launched the new Fike.com in May, there has been a significant increase in web traffic and site performance, including a spike in unique visitors and average session duration. In terms of key page performance, the Knowledge Center is now the second most visited page on the website, increasing the number of sessions by 235%. The Products page has also received 25 times more sessions since the website launched, compared to the same timeframe pre-launch. Social Driver will continue the partnership as the new digital experience is rolled out globally to 10 different markets.
