The Public Welfare Foundation’s previous visual brand did not convey the vivid, hopeful and gritty work of the organization. Their previous website felt muted and distant and didn’t capture the texture of the people they serve.

Gritty Bold and Human

To convey the nature of their work we opted for a photography heavy design approach that allows the "humanity" of these issues to shine through. In addition to candid photography we implemented a bold color palette, timeless typography and subtle textures to create a design that strikes a balance between communicating intense conviction and a sense of energetic optimism.
